DynaMyo™ neuro-musculoskeletal biomechanical electronic data systems

HydraDynamic™ Hydraulic Resistance System

Static Resistence (isometric)

Maximum force is applied with resistance set at 250#, beyond the user's ability to move.

Strength Testing (non-electronic)

Starting at maximum resistance, with the user in an isometric exercise, the tester reduces the resistance until movement occurs indicating strength level.

Dynamic Resistence (single positive isotonic)

Similar to lifting weight mass, no exercise movement occurs until the user exerts a force exceeding the preset resistance indicated on the scale. The resistance, without weight mass inertia is very smooth and low impact. The return stroke to the starting position is without resistance and the associate danger of falling weight or high energy and high velocity spring-back.

HydraDynamic Functional Features:

  • Instant resistance change (small or large) by moving the resistance lever. Muscles can be challenged at the optimum level with instant resistance change, even during an exercise stroke. Optimum challenge produces maximum results.
  • Resistance settings in pounds. Enables user to quantify efforts and results.
  • Very low minimum resistance settings. Allows beginning strength training and rehabilitation at very low resistance levels at one pound increments.
  • Very high maximum resistance settings. Up to 600 pounds for squats and 320 pounds for bench press provides ample muscle challenge for the strongest most accomplished athletes.
  • Consistent resistance through the full exercise stroke. The muscle group is challenged through the full range of motion for optimum results.
